The truth is more we try to stop or fight anxiety, stronger it becomes.
Aim of any intervention for treating anxiety, be it in form of self help, medications, expert advice of a psychiatrist or psychologist- is about learning to ‘manage’ anxiety and not really about curing it.
First ‘mantra’ to manage anxiety is to train mind to identify the triggers of anxiety.
Talking about suicide does not give the person ideas, it does not push them to take the step. In fact, it helps them feel validated and heard.
I realised that it’s worth, giving a few moments to be in that moment, and let the mind dwell on all things worth being grateful for.

Resilience- ability to ‘bounce back’. The human mind has astonishing strength to bound back from any depth of despair. It can heal. It can regenerate. No matter how tough and difficult the circumstances look today, we are a resilient species, we will bounce back.
It is very fascinating and absolutely amazing to know that in ‘Vedic times’; while different civilizations across the world were just in their infancy, verses written in ‘Vedas’ were already discussing the possible origin of universe, body mind inter-connectedness, and were praying to deities for ‘wellness’ and ‘peace’ for not just the human race but also for the ‘brahamaand’
In this world full of madness, being compassionate and kind to others and more importantly towards yourself, might just be the key to remain a bit more sane.
